IS Contractors of America is a family-owned general contracting firm whose roots reach back to 1960s Israel, where founder Siegfried Stell and his son Igal built as developers and contractors. What began there has grown into a multi-generational company that has delivered over 500 projects — worth hundreds of millions of dollars — across the Eastern Seaboard.
We build commercial centers, luxury residences, schools, houses of worship, hotels, medical facilities, multi-family housing, and industrial complexes. We build across every sector, each project delivered turn-key.

Three generations of the Stell family have built this company on a single principle: every project carries our name, and we build accordingly.
Siegfried founded the company and was its pillar. In the 1960s, he and his son Igal began building in Israel as developers and contractors — apartment buildings, banks, medical institutions, and municipal projects across the country, including years of roughly six apartment buildings annually in Haifa. He led the firm until his passing in 1980.
Igal built alongside his father from the very start. After Siegfried's passing in 1980, he carried the company forward — bringing the firm to the United States and expanding it across the East Coast with retail chains, shopping centers, hotels, and residential developments from Florida to New Jersey.
A son of founder Siegfried Stell and brother to Igal, Jacob is part of the second generation that carried the company forward — helping build IS Contractors into a trusted general contractor across the East Coast.
